Our friend, Mark, who is living in Australia right now gave us tickets to go see the Twins play the Royals at Target Field last week. We had four tickets so we took Gavin and Kyra and then Carley and Reagan got to stay home and play with Grandma and Grandpa. We had an amazing time. Gavin LOVED the game, never taking his eyes off of it, Kyra LOVED the food and the singing ("Take Me Out to the Ball Game") and ALL of the planes that kept flying over as they took off from the airport, and Jed and I loved watching the kids get excited about the "big" city and the "big" building and all of the fun stuff at the game - people, food, mascot, jumbotron, fowl balls, and of course the game. Gavin's only down part of the night was that he didn't catch a fowl ball in his hat (see the picture below) but they came darn close a couple of times. We did also get to see someone propose to his girlfriend that was sitting just a few rows in front of us. Thank you, thank you, thank you for the tickets Mark - great seats, great game (Twin's won 6-2)!!!!

Kyra said, "Mom, see all those green dots over there? Those are the people to hand you food." Meaning the vendors who were selling beer etc. walking up and down the steps. Too funny.
She loves her food.
